I, Satoshi Shimizu (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us"), handle customer information in the "PairSnap" service we provide as follows.

1. Scope of Application
This Privacy Policy applies to all services related to PairSnap (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). If the handling of customer information is separately stipulated in a service-specific privacy policy or individual terms of use (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Terms"), those Individual Terms shall also apply. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Individual Terms, the Individual Terms shall prevail.
Please note that the collection of personal information by other businesses, such as linked websites, is outside the scope of this Privacy Policy.

2. Basic Policy of the Service
The Service is a remote shutter camera app in which two devices on the same network communicate directly with each other (peer-to-peer). It uses no external servers whatsoever and requires no account registration. No customer information is ever transmitted to any server operated by us.

3. Information We Collect and How We Use It
We collect and use information in the Service as described below. All of this information is processed only within your device or between your device and the paired device on the same network, and is never transmitted externally.
• Camera feed and captured photos
The Service uses your device's camera to display the preview for remote shooting and to take photos. The video feed and photos are transferred only to the device you have connected to, through an encrypted peer-to-peer connection. They never pass through any server on the internet.
• Connection key
The connection key is used to authenticate and securely connect the two devices. It is hashed and used only for mutual authentication between the devices, and is stored only on your device as the default value for the next session.
• Saving to the photo library
If you enable the setting to save captured photos, the Service adds photos to your device's photo library (gallery). We never read existing photos in your photo library.
• Local network information
The Service uses the local network (mDNS/Bonjour) to discover and connect to the paired device on the same network. This communication stays entirely within your network.

4. Purpose of Use
We use the collected information only for the following purposes:
• To provide remote shooting and photo transfer between devices
• To authenticate the connection between devices

5. Advertising and Analytics
The Service does not use any advertising services or third-party analytics tools. Your activity history and device information are never collected by advertisers or any other third parties.

6. Response to Prohibited Data Use
We prohibit the improper use of user data for any purpose. Collected data is used solely to provide and improve the Service. We never sell, lend, or otherwise misuse user data to third parties.

7. Response to Prohibited Data Transfer
The Service is designed so that your information is never sent to external servers. User data will not be transferred to outside third parties except where required by law. If a transfer becomes necessary, we will obtain your explicit consent in advance.

8. Provision of Information
We will not provide your personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
• When required by law
* We may provide users' personal information to third parties only when we have a legal obligation or when complying with a court order. In such cases, we will notify users in advance whenever possible.

9. Your Rights
All information stored by the Service (the connection key and saved photos) exists only on your device. You can completely delete it yourself at any time by deleting the app or removing photos from your photo library. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.

10. Revisions to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time. In the event of important changes, we will announce the details in an easy-to-understand manner.
If there are important changes, we will notify you via in-app notices or store update information.
